How to Purchase a Custom Real Estate Protection

Custom Protections (your own region or zone, where you want it to be) is now handled through "Region Self Service".

It is still a protection from bedrock to sky, requires you to designate the horizontal (x, z) coordinates of the opposite corners of the area, and before creating the region and confirming that you are willing to pay the amount that it costs. Each single block column (from bedrock to sky) will cost $200; so an area of 8 x 10 blocks will cost [ 8 x 10 x $200 = $16,000 ].

1. Once your area has been located, ensure that it is not encroaching on any other constructions (you will get a waring if it does take in another region, and will not proceed).
NOTE: It is also expected that you will not create a region that includes other peoples unprotected structures, without their consent (they may have a right to appeal, or to be compensated).

2. Use //pos1 to set the x, z coordinate of the first corner of your space to where you are currently standing, OR //hpos1 for the block currently in your cross hair.

3. Use //pos2 to set the x, z coordinate of the second corner of your space to where you are currently standing, OR //hpos2 for the block currently in your cross hair; (diagonally opposite) in your rectangular space.

4. Use /ss create [region name] <priority> . [region name] is the name that you give to your region. <priority> is a number (integer or whole number) when making regions within one of your existing regions, to tell which region will be active in the overlapping blocks (the higher the number, the higher the priority). <priority> is not usually required.

5. You will be presented with a confirmation message with the cost of creating the region. Follow the prompt and accept if you find the price suitable. If not, define another region and try again.

6. You have created and purchased the region. You are now the owner, and it is like any other region, zone or lot that you own. You have build rights, can set many of its flags, add other players as members, sell the lot or rent it out. You may own up to 25 regions at a time (this includes: apartments, lots, clan zones or custom regions).
